Surgery can be a stressful and worrisome procedure, and we certainly understand that. Please rest assured that we provide the highest quality of anesthetic and surgical care.
All surgical patients are required to have "acceptable" blood work prior to the procedure. This is to ensure that the internal organs are able to handle and metabolize the anesthetic drugs. For many of the procedures, this is not an additional cost to you!!
Every patient will be administered one of the safest anesthetic protocols, and this protocol will be tailored for each individual patient. All surgical patients will receive an IV catheter along with IV fluids to maintain appropriate blood pressure. Extensive vital sign monitoring (i.e. heart rate, blood pressure, temperature, pulse oximetry, and respiratory rate) will be performed during the entire procedure to ensure that your beloved pet is doing well while under anesthesia.
